With a clever play on words, buss spirits grab the spotlight: Belgian chef and caterer Serge Buss has named his company after his surname. However, this can be translated into English as “buzz,” and it sounds just like the word in that language. His ancestors gave him both his adventurous spirit and his refined palette. Buss’s paternal grandfather was the royal chef of Belgium, and his father owned and operated multiple eateries. Serge opened his first inn when he was only 20 years old, which was almost the norm in those days. Then, in 2013, he opened the gin and tonic-focused Bounce Bar in Antwerp. He quickly moved on to creating his own gins. In 2013, Buss released its first gin to the market, which quickly won a number of prestigious awards around the world. Both the Author Collection and the Choice Cut Collection of gins have been expanded since then. Each bottle of spirit is handcrafted in small batches using only the finest all-natural ingredients. No fillers or preservatives were used in the final product, which was then packaged in elegant bottles.
